Yep, after I quit working I got into all sorts of craft. I have a kiln where I did pottery and so much more. I have not lit that kiln in 8 years, its just sitting in the garage with all the supplies and the clay that I used has all dried up. Dh ask when I will get rid of it. NEVER, I got such a deal on all of it, I know I will use it some day.

Start with what you love and have a few side crafts you can do so you do not get burned out on the thing you love the most. They always say that what you love the most can hurt you in the end if you over do it and its not a pleasure anymore. Seems everyting I got into I had to have all the supplies. I now wish I kept it small but at that time I had to have it all. I have now learned that folks like us that have a creative mind is not happy with one thing, we have to try it all to see what clicks with us then we try and make a living on it. Dont do what I did, Most of the supplies I sold, I never got back all my money. So I have learned to sit on my thoughts for a few weeks to see if they still are burning a hole in my brain then I take it slow in buying the supplies and buy just a few supplies to see how it will turn out.

    Your work is wonderful...

Sounds like we are junkies, I love all crafts but sewing is in my blood. But I do stained glass, making bears, gourds, stamping and more. Have gotten rid of alot of suppies and am just sticking with sewing on Etsy and the stained glass for fun in the summer time when I can work on the porch with it.

Looks like you have a quite a talent with crochet, Bravo~~ I see your heart is in your work. I tried it but could not get past the first row. I admire those that can crochet and knit. I hope you do well on Etsy and love it here on MyCraft.

Hope the weather is kind to you where you are, here is Ga we are getting hit hard with bad rain storms but we sure need the rain.

    Happy craftin'
