Hello and welcome to my page!

A little about my crafting: I've been painting as a hobby since '02, and more recently got into jewelry making, stained glass work and scrap booking just about 2 years ago.

I enjoy painting landscapes, animals, flowers, and colorful abstracts in acrylic and watercolor.  Nature inspires me and I like to get outside, takes some pics. and then use them as studies.  I've taken art classes in high school but am pretty much self taught.

I consider myself a beginning beader. I like to make earrings and keychains with gemstones, as I find their natural qualities healing.  They make great thoughtful gifts for my family.

I love stained glass and came across it at a craft store.  I got overwhelmed with starting yet another hobby, but couldn't resist the beautiful glass.  I didn't have the resourses to get the glass grinder, soldering iron etc. so I came up with my own simple suncatcher design, where I wrap wire around a piece of glass, accent it with beads and hang it. I also like to make mosaic candle holders, which are very fun and easy.

I scrap book a little bit, but it's time-consuming and you have to have a lot of cutters and pretty much have to buy the cricut machine to get the good variety of letters and things. I mostly just make a few cards here and there and want to scrap book my baby's memories in the future but that's as far as that goes.

I bounce around from craft to craft whenever a mood strikes, but want to get back into painting more pieces so I can get prints and start to sell them.  I'd also like to sell my glass work, and jewelry.  I figure if this is my passion, I should do it for a living so others can enjoy my creations.  I have a lot to learn about marketing and selling but am excited to join this site and connect with others who share my passion.
