I love custom orders for scrapbook pages, borders or books! I have been pretty fortunate to have worked with some great people that tell me what they like and then they just say 'GO FOR IT'! Sometimes, they'll tell me the colors they would like to see, but usually not.

I recently was contacted to make 2 custom scrapbooks for a repeat customer. She wants a Dance scrapbook for her 6 year old daughter and a John Deere one for her 3 year old son. The only request from her was to put the child's name on the cover. I am so excited to have these started. As I was organizing my scraproom yesterday I came across a bunch of glittery, foiled, sparkly pink and black papers that are coming together beautifully for the dance scrapbook. And, I just got lucky on ebay last week and won a bunch of John Deere paper cheap! yay!

This is the photo I am using for our Christmas card this year. The picture is from our vacation this summer to Wisconsin Dells. I couldn't find any better photos of all 5 of us -- so this is the one that is getting printed up!  We set the Christmas tree up this afternoon when the kids got home from school. They are so excited to decorate everything in the house. They are 8, 10 and 12 and truly enjoy the holiday season. My hope is to find some way to give to a family in need to teach my kids what the holidays should be about. I'm hoping that our church can help us with finding that family. I'd love to hear ideas on how to teach kids to appreciate what they have. Please leave your ideas in the comments for all to see. :)

Well, I just finished watching Gray's Anatomy. I have watched this show since it started and I am really starting to wonder where it is going? Izzy's dead husband is back as a 'ghost'? I normally really love the show, but lately it sure has me wondering what is going on!

I finished Christmas shopping today! Yay!! Tomorrow I hope to wrap some of the gifts and maybe do a bit of baking.
