Tonight while I was putting my son to bed, I started thinking about all the things that I have promised people that I would make. Oh, boy! I think I need to make a list and figure out which ones need to be done first!
My husband's boss asked if I would make somethings to donate to a fundraising craft show to benefit the Kenya Orphanage Project(how can you say no to that!, I still have another backpack to make for a friend of a friend's twins, I need to make gift bags and gifts for my daughter's teachers.........
See what I mean?
But, you know what, handmade things are totally worth it. They are special and make the person getting them feel special.

Happy Saturday everyone!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We sure did. Then early on Friday morning my sweet daughter woke me up and I found that she had a high fever. She hardly moved off of the sofa yesterday she felt so badly. Thankfully, this morning she is much better and is up walking around.
Now, for what I started to blog about....
This year, after finding some beautiful holiday fabric fat quarters, I decided to make gift bags. They turned out beautifully. You can see some of them on this page and all of them in my Etsy shop at www.pursesbylinda.etsy.com.
I took one to my sister yesterday and she loved it. She is going to use it for the gift she is taking to her Christmas party at work.
We always reuse gift bags that we get for birthdays and Christmas, but fabric ones will be even better!
