I managed to snag a treasury on Etsy tonight...I've not noticed alot of Olympic themed items featured on the site so wanted to start the trend....and I got one.

Here come the winter Olympics...and they are being held in CANADA!

I'm not usually a diehard Olympics fan but we were fortunate to see the torch run through our town in late December, and then again when we were in another city for my mom's birthday....and I'm hooked...

It's more about seeing Canadians celebrate our country and this event, despite cold temperatures, windchills and the late night appearance...that's us, true Canadians.

And of course I had to research just a little more so I could relate the history of this and that...and one of the things I learned was the symbolism of the five rings on the flag....and to celebrate those colors..and we know I love color....I designed a few items in honor of the games...(and the need to keep warm).
