About Me I am a mom & a crafter. I am currently laid off of a job I enjoyed so I am looking for employment and crafting up a storm! I make boutique quality hair bows, clippies, and beanies. I also crochet afghans, lapghans, beanies, & scarfs. I am very involved in being a mom. My child is in sports so there is a lot of that going on. I also enjoy landscaping and being a homemaker. I love to cook and being around family and friends! I look forward to sharing my handmade items with all of you :)

Only in Minnesota can the temps fluctuate 60 degrees or more in such a short time.

The fluctuation won't be that drastic today from yesterday but still!

Yes, I believe that it is finally spring. Whoooo Hooo
That means cleaning. Time to get the dust bunnies out of and off everything, scrub the  left over dried up melted snow/dirt off the entry way floors and  wash the windows, in and out. Also time to wash the car, rake the yard, and do the garage chores as well...get the salt swept up, prime the grill and mower, bring the sports equipment down, put the winter equipment up... (these are what I call my "man chores, since I am a single female and view them as typically male chores).

I'm exhausting myself just talking about it. lol
So, my plans for the day? I have a "to do" list. Heck, I still have things on that list from over a week ago.
A few of these to do items are, order a Phantom of the Opera poster for my child (who her dad and I are taking to the Orpheum Theater on her 13th bd to see!), finish raking leaves, bag those leaves, order headbands, make appt for sleep study, look into the "magic jack", write and mail bills, dishes, vacuum, crochet, photograph and list new items to my online shop (www.LollyBopBaby.etsy.com) , do my taxes, & finish baby carrier cover for my soon to be born nephew.

That list doesn't seem too bad or big and is totally doable today.
That brings me to ask all of you...what is on your to do list for the day?

Be blessed and have a wonderful Thursday.
If you have a moment, please stop by my shop and also pass the address along to anyone you think would enjoy peeking at it!

    www.LollyBopBaby.etsy.com  see you there!

I wrote a blog and lost it....

Tuesday, April 7, 2009, 01:09 PM CST [General]

It was good too. Darn it :)

So this is where I go from here. Todays blog was wishing you all a Happy Easter and sharing some fond memories while asking you to share yours.

Instead of writing all that again, I am going to attach a link to the  official "Peeps" site  for you to enjoy.
    MARSHMALLOW PEEPS®

    Have a blessed Easter everyone!

Handmade items for your little Prince & Princess

Sunday, March 29, 2009, 01:41 PM CST [General]

There is nothing quite like handmade. Where did the days go when we made items, cherished them, used them, then put them away for our children to pass down to future generations?

Handmade (quality and love) is back!
Please visit me in my shop at www.LollyBopBaby.etsy.com and enjoy the quality handmade items... all made by me :)
