I wanted to start by saying hello to everyone who is new to our group!
We're so thrilled to have you here and hope that you are making new friends and networking! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the new creations I see posted to our group.
Secondly, I want to apologize BIG time for not really being here. Life has been hectic as I'm sure we all know. I feel like I really neglected this group that I started and for that I sincerely apologize.
I do promise to be around more and to start doing some great stuff with our group.
If anyone has any idea of things they would like to see please don't hesitate to let me know!
Also, I've been using the time I've had to start a brand new blog called Handmade Happiness. This blog is dedicated to everything handmade with a weekly theme!
If you want to check it out, any feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm constantly learning and making changes to my blog is pleasing to everyone!

This month I am so lucky to be part of 2 fabulous promotional events that will be going on at the same time from April 17th--May 1st.
One is on Artfire given by the Ajdjss Guild and is a "Spring Cleaning & Treasure Hunt" Event with lots of studio specials on items, free shipping, and a real treasure hunt with lots of winners receiving prizes. Check out our blog for all the details and a peek at the prizes: artfirejewelrydesignjewel...
The other is on Etsy given by the ejdss street team and is a "Mother's Day" event also with lots of shop specials on items, free shipping, and a hunt for Mother's names. Check out our blog for a peek at the prizes: ejdssteamblogspot.com
It is really exciting to be part of both of these events!
I have been having a blast using wire, beads, hammer, and anvil! I got this fabulous book for Christmas called "Inspired Wire" and I have been trying out all kinds of new stuff from there Just ordered some more wire!
I have both an Etsy and an Artfire store. I would love to diversify to increase sales, but since each of my items are intricate, handmade, and one of a kind, building up a large inventory of unique items for two shops is a daunting task. I can't imagine how long it would take to fill 3 or more shops.
So here is my rookie question: Should I, or do you, offer the same one-of-a-kind item in more than one shop at a time?
I've sold some items, but am wondering, what are the odds of two people buying the same item at the same time?
