Wow!

I finally finished my clock and it turned out exactly the way I wanted it to.

It has a whimsical saying on it "Just give me the WINE and no one gets hurt". If you like this, check out my Wine Bling charm rings for wine glasses.

I recycled a 12 inch in diameter round glass serving tray/serving platter that has 3 silver toned grape "feet". Hangs on the wall quite nicely. Pearl green polymer clay nail caps. Satin sheen finish on the matte paper.

I hope whoever purchases this will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Hello to all.

I just have to share this with you.

Last year at the beginning of Fall I was on a roll with making these poly stuffed pumpkins.  They were real easy to make and I was having fun with them. I had made so many there were scads of them on my table. Really! I made big ones, medium ones and small ones. I did not take a pictue of them at the time and gave them as gifts to family and friends. We went to Georgia to my Sis's for Thankgiving and lo and behold there were the pumpkins decorating her dinette table that I had given to her last year. They really looked nice.

So I took a picture and here you go.

Well , I hope everyone had a wonderful Turkey Day! Things here were the same as most of our Turkey Day's we had everyone in our family over , at least the ones within driving distance. LOL.... And the kids all talked goofed off and did thier thing , hubby was working during the morning fixing a motor-cycle for a friend and I was cooking and jumping on when I could on the conversations the kids were having. That and reminding them that I was still in charge even though they were grown since they like to tease the baby , not in a mean way but it tends to get to be a little much after a while..... ;)

So now onto Christmas. I had posted a blog about an idea that one of my friends had here on mycraft regarding trading / bartering. I had no responses to this and thought I would touch on it one more time since I know everyone has been so busy with Turkey Day and then of course the ever loving Black Friday events that the stores were holding yesterday. The concept is that as crafters we all have something to offer and sell. But many of us are faced with economical issues this year and could use a little help in gathering the gifts we seek. Now the concept would be this , we trade for equal value of the items we are looking for with whom ever we would like to. From Jewelry to Clothing and everything in between........ I know it makes perfect sense to me and I too could use this kind of bartering method this year. If you are interested please let me know and I will pass the info on. I would like to see as many of us participate in this as possible and insure that the idea came from MyCraft Friends as well. If you see something similar to what you are looking for from a crafter but you want it a little different or maybe something different all together but think this is the Crafter for you then message them and ask them if they can make it for you and would they be willing to trade. It doesn't hurt to ask and most of us have more then enough stock to do this since many people are not buying handmade this year due to the economy. I mean I have to admit when you are tight for money and the all consuming Wally World Offers it for more then half of what you can make it and sell it for then of course they are going to go to Wally World and in the meantime you are stuck with stock you can't move. But if you ccan find a crafter such as yourself looking to make purchases and you have what they are looking for and they have something you are interested in then what better way to move some stock and get some gifts for family and friends as well?

On another note concerning Christmas I would love to see what gifts you have made for your friends and family as well as gifts you have received and or bartered for........ May You All Have the Best of Holidays this Season and May we all remember what is truly important in our lives. Not matter how bad things have been in my life and they have been really bad at times I have always clunge to this saying and passed it on to my children , " No matter how bad things are they could always be worse"
