So, was anyone else crazy enough to go out on Friday? We were. It was really for the sole purpose of checking out deals on new winter coats for a couple of small people who live in my house. I think they're supposed to be children, but they more often remind me of those monkeys that fling poo at each other at the zoo. Anyway, I intrepidly stumbled after my husband through Penney's and Sears trying to find winter coats for the boys. I say stumbled, because I found out yesterday that I do indeed have the flu. Do you know how they test you for that? They stick a great long, hurty swab up your nose. That's right. Up. Your. Nose.

'Nuff said.

Friday was crazy. With a capital C. We went back on Saturday - cold and pouring down rain, and not quite so crazy. Oddly enough, I felt better on Saturday. We went to Dillard's. Now, I don't normally shop at Dillard's until they have their end-of-season sidewalk sales. I'm a huge bargain shopper, and I NEVER pay full price when I can buy on sale. We found a pair of winter coats - with Iron Man on them no less - on sale. I was happy. The boys are over the moon. The fact they don't insist on wearing them to bed boggles me.

Anyway, my Black Friday was very red. So was Cyber Monday. Some of that I put down to the fact that I could barely hold my head up, much less promote my wonderful shop (www.heartsabustin.etsy.com). Some of it, I don't have a clue. I'm sticking it out, though, envisioning the stampede of shoppers that will be beating down the doo (metaphorically) to heartsabustin. :)
