I'm Back from Holidays!

OK, I don't know how everyone else has done on sales these past holidays. I noticed that my Opera Length Pearls Strands, Single Strand Tiger's Eye necklace, Double Strand Coin Pearl/Turquoise necklaces, and my large Glass/Sterling Silver Pendants sold well over the holidays - all on consignment or special orders! This was a change in sales for me! Also consignments comming in are for clasp earrings and lever back earrings.

I added some new mock up's and drawings in my jewelry design book whenever the thought struck me over the holidays...and have allot of things to try/make...I have mostly argentinium wire left and will use that before I purchase more wire for wire wrapping.

Wonder if I can get Argentinium bails for my necklaces??? WIll have to check my favorite web sites for bails...

I have some good ideas and will see how the copper and red brass prototypes work before going into argentinium for wire work...also have some great beads to work with...so time to get working again....

Here's an update - Wow! What happened to February - it kind of whizzed by!

I've been absent in making new jewelry items and have been concentrating on other (personal) things.

Now it appears is the time to work on implementing some of these new ideas I have been sketching out (between things) or ideas I've dreamt up and filed away/thrown in my design book. New things to try and work up. I have a selection of stones I've amassed and need to wire wrap a few of these into pendants for necklaces. So, I've ordered more silver wire from RIO GRANDE (I also like Monsterslayer). Since I am living in two places now I find that I don't always have everything on hand at one or the other places! WAH!

My hubby (Steve)and I are working on getting one house ready to put up for sale and hopefully can find a buyer for that place in Texas. But it will take a few weeks to get it in shape/staged for selling. In the meantime I am working on a few things in the other house in NM. Throwing up some consignments on EBAY (for family) and working on jewelry and a new cookbook in my copious spare time!

Never the less RETIREMENT AGREES WITH ME!!
